Fondant Class Scheduled for Lincoln

Yep, you read right, LINCOLN!
My fondant 101 (as I like to call it because I am fancy, you see.) is hitting the road!
So, if you are somewhere around Omaha but not in Omaha, send me an email and we can see if we can work something out.
Rates are a bit more then the normal $12.50 a person, to include my travel rate.
And then you, too, can learn to decorate cakes like you see on t.v.!
I am so sad I didn't remember to bring my camera to the last class I taught.  The ladies made some lovely cakes and I really liked their color choices.

Basic Fondant Cake Class {Omaha Cake Decorating}

Basic Fondant cake class, Tuesday, Feb. 15, 7:30-9:30 p.m.  My house.  BYOC (bring your own frosted cake, 8 or 9  inch round) and $12.50 (cash, check, paypal).  Leave knowing how to make fondant, cover a cake in it, and create basic decorations for it.  Email me at:  confetticreationsbyjessica@yahoo.com if you want in!  There is room for 4-6 total students.  OR contact me to schedule your own class one day!

FYI:  This is such a steal for your money!  At a prominent craft store in town, you pay $21 and get less information and less hands on training!  Tell your friends and schedule a class today :)

Fondant Class {Omaha cake decorating classes}

This was such a fun class!  It was the first fondant class I'd taught to all strangers, so I was a bit nervous going into it, but once there I was able to relax and have fun. 
It's amazing to me how different every cake is in every class!  Even the two girls who both used stars wound up with very different cakes.
Anne, I hope you had a great birthday!  (This was a present for her from her sister, Patrice!  Isn't that so fun!)

Fondant Class #2...even better then the first! (Omaha Cake Decorating Classes)

My second basic fondant class was held in June and was a great success.  Two tweeners were there...one of them even decorated her cake for her dog, Lilo, who turned 5 the next day.  It just so happened to be her birthday the next day as well.  :)

Completed projects below. Each student brought their own frosted cake and learned how to make fondant, how to condition the fondant, and how to cover and do some simple decorations with fondant.
